Oh yes!! Your baby has turned to one year now!! At your surprise, he might have started to take his beautiful steps around your room. Also, he might have started to stand, walk, chew and crave his foods now.
At this age, he will be able to completely chew and swallow his foods. At the beginning if he is not able to do it, try to give half mashed foods. Later, give up the mashed foods and train him with regular solid foods but in smaller amounts.

10. Aloo Paratha
Aloo or potato is enriched with carbohydrate and fats that help your baby to gain weight. Mash two small boiled aloos well and stuff it in the center of your roti dough. Now knead it so that the aloo is completely stuffed inside your roti. Roll the small piece of dough into a thick aloo roti. Now fry it in hot tawa. You can add little turmeric powder, salt, little garam masala to enhance the taste.
9. Sweet Corn
Steamed sweet corn has numerous rich nutritions such as Vitamins, minerals, sodium, calcium, manganese, copper and zinc. Instead of giving these sweet corn granules, you can grind it in a mixer jar so that it is easily chewable for your baby. Try with just 2 spoons of sweet corn since it may be allergic for some babies. However, consult with your pediatrician before giving it.
Broccoli is an excellent source of food that is rich in Vitamins, Chromium, folate, manganese and dietarty fibre. Just small little chunks of steamed broccoli is an excellent finger food for your baby.

It is must give supplement for one year baby to avoid constipation problems and to act as an excellent tonic during fever. Rinse the raisins thoroughly before giving it to your baby. Also, you can just grind it for 2 seconds making him easier to chew.
6. Bread Omelettes
As we all know, egg is an essential diet supplement for one year baby. Egg which is rich in iron, vitamins and minerals is a must give food for baby. Just whisk an egg in a bowl. Spread it in hot pan. Now place two breads over it. Flip it so that it is completely fried and cooked.
5. Homemade Paneer
Paneer which is rich protein diet is an essential food for one year baby. Home made Paneer is better than paneer got from outside. To make this you have to boil the milk thoroughly and then add lemon juice to it. Now wait until the curd and whey water gets separated. Filter this using a muslin cloth and let it remain for 2 hours. Now, after the water has been completely drained, a dry dough is left over which is otherwise called as paneer. You can cut into small chunks and give it as a finger food for your baby. Don’t forget to consult with your doctor before doing this.
Chapathi, a traditional Indian recipe can also be provided to the toddler who has completed 11 months. Chapathis can be made by kneading the wheat flour along with water and salt to it. Later, roll it into circles and heat it in tawa. Now, cut the chapathis into small pieces so that it is easy to chew and crave by your toddler.

Cucumber is a hydrating food that makes your baby stay hydrated for a long time. It is also a healthy food that is rich in protein, vitamins, niacin, dietary fibre and fat. Peel off the skin of cucumber and deseed all the seeds in it. Now cut into small chunks so that it is easy to be picked by your baby. Try to cut out the head and bottom of cucumber.

Ghee or a clarified butter is necessary to be added in your baby’s diet because it helps in easy digestion and also in brain development. Also, ghee is rich in Vitamin A, D, E and K which helps in healthy bone and brain development.
